Volunteers work throughout the RSL in many and varying capacities that all in their own way make a valuable contribution to our ongoing mission.
Our aim is to find a volunteer role that best matches your skills and experience ensuring the contribution you make is meaningful to both you and the RSL.

Volunteer roles in within MOE RSL 

  • Appeals
    Appeals Volunteers help raise the much needed funds required to support the well-being of veterans and their families.
  • Commemorations
    Commemorations Volunteers participate in and coordinate commemorative activities such as ANZAC Day, Remembrance Day and many other important commemorative dates throughout the year.
  • Memorabilia
    Memorabilia volunteers help to maintain and preserve military and wartime artefacts and objects for the benefit of future generations.
  • Veteran Support
    Veteran Support volunteers provide well-being  support to veterans and their families. Veteran Support volunteers can undertake a number of roles including:
    • Home and Hospital Visitation
    • Veteran Transport
    • Welfare Officers
    • Pensions Officers
    • Other Veteran Support Activities
    Most Veteran Support Roles require volunteers to undergo a National Police Check for Aged Care. Some Veteran Support roles such as Welfare Officers and Pensions Officers also require volunteers to undergo specialised accredited training.
  • Specialist Support Roles
    We are always looking for volunteers with specialised skills or qualifications that can be utilised for the benefit of the RSL in its mission to the Veteran community.

Volunteering with the RSL will;

• Provide “on the job” experience for those studying.
• Allow you to meet new people and build relationships.
• Make a difference in the lives of those who have served our country and its allies.
